Fuel prices continue to tumble in Samoa.

04 January 2022: Samoa's Minister of Finance Afioga Mulipola Anarosa Ale Molioo, announced this week that the retail price per litre for petrol has dropped to 12.04 sene per litre and the price for diesel has dropped to 9.93 sene per litre, and for Kerosene decreased by 12.71 sene per litre effective January 1st 2022.

The marker prices for January 2022 are based on November MOPS. International Product Prices decreased in November, MOPS decreasing by US$ /bbl. Freight Rates and the SAT/US$ were relatively stable. The main cause for the market fall is attributed to the emergence of the Omicron COVID-19 variant which has caused another wave of infections around the world.

Petrol $3.03 per litre

Diesel $2.93 per litre

Kerosene $2.54 per litre
