Mrs. Makerita Tagomoa-Papalii, representing the Auckland Central Catholic Kāhui Ako (ACCKA), presented a generous donation of ST16,000 to Siliniu Lina Chang, the President of the Samoa Victim Support Group. The donation took place on the eve of the team's week-long Malaga Tautua to Samoa, symbolizing the strong bond between the two organizations.

In addition to the financial contribution, ACCKA also presented a box of donated goods to the children at the Campus of Hope earlier in the day. These contributions were made possible through the collaborative efforts of the 14 Catholic Schools in Auckland, including their dedicated teachers, parents, families, and supporters. Since October last year, these groups have rallied behind the Samoa Malaga Tautua 2023, demonstrating their unwavering support.

The timing of this donation couldn't have been better, as the Samoa Victim Support Group is preparing for its upcoming Online Fundraising Campaign, scheduled to be broadcasted live on 29 July 2023. The financial support from ACCKA will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the success of this campaign.

Furthermore, the bond fostered between the children of hope, the SVSG management and staff, and the representatives of the Auckland Central Catholic Schools will establish sustainable partnerships for the future. This fellowship highlights the dedication and commitment of all involved parties to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

During this momentous occasion, SVSG bid farewell to one of its long-serving partners in New Zealand, Marist College NZ. They also extended their gratitude to the Auckland Central Catholic Kāhui Ako, which has now become an essential part of SVSG's global family, as they returned to their homeland.

Expressing her heartfelt appreciation, SVSG President Siliniu Lina Chang thanked the hardworking supporters in New Zealand who have tirelessly worked behind the scenes for the Samoa Malaga Tautua 2023. She acknowledged the genuine love and care shared by the 20-member delegation, describing their time together as "short but rewarding fellowship."

The Auckland Central Catholic Kāhui Ako's donation and support demonstrate their commitment to philanthropy and their dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. The Samoa Victim Support Group extends its deepest gratitude to ACCKA and all those involved in this remarkable endeavor.
