Rugby World Cup champions Black Ferns New Zealand celebrated their win
on home soil by singing a Samoan song after winning against
England 34-31 in an epic clash at Eden Park.

In one of the biggest final matches of women's rugby ever
demonstrated. The title has landed New Zealand's Black Ferns as the
women's Rugby World Cup Champions , after a stunning performance.

After the game , the Black Ferns team gathered at the photobooth stage
and sang in Samoan as they were celebrating their victorious win. The
team clapped and chanted lyrics of the song "Ua matou omai nei e pese
fiafia mo Aotearoa" interpreting "we rejoice as we come together to
sing for Aotearoa".

Someone commented on the Black Ferns Tik Tok page questioning why a
New Zealand team didn't sing a Maori song but instead sang a Samoan
song . Kelsey Teneti who plays for the New Zealand Sevens team
responded that Black Ferns were simply embracing diversity of culture
in the team as they had not only had Aotearoa players but also had
Samoan players as well.

"Embracing the diverse cultures we have in our team" , commented Kelsey Teneti.

Several other fans also commented on the video congratulating the
Black Ferns and sending kind regards towards the winning team.
"Congratulations ladies" were the most written responses online.

The Black Ferns have several Samoan Islanders playing for their
national team side by side with their Aotearoa sisters ,and together
with neighbouring islands in the Pacific. With Samoan as the third
most spoken language in the whole of Aoteroa , New Zealand holds an
annual event celebrating Samoan Language week which celebrates the
culture and heritage of Samoa.

Now with them titled as the Rugby World Champions , a double
celebration for the Samoan's and Pacific Islanders in the past weekend
in double wins against England in the Rugby League World Cup
semi-finals and also demolishing the Red Roses in the Word Cup finals.
