CABINET ELECTS FIRST FEMALE VICE CHANCELLOR FOR NUS
Since the establishment of the National University of Samoa in the year 1984 (38 years ago) the cabinet has elected the first ever woman in the country to be the Vice Chancellor for the National University of Samoa for 3 years.
On Thursday of this week, in an announcement , it stated that the Honorable Tuifasisina Patila Amosa was elected as the new President and V.C of the National University of Samoa, and this appointment was revealed in a document from the Government's spokesperson office which was approved by the Cabinet.
Tuifasisisna is no stranger to the university, she has been serving within the institute for 30 years and is also currently the Dean for the Faculty of Science.
