Both of them were not fortunate enough to have the opportunity to pursue higher education at the university level due to financial constraints, so I made it my goal to make use of the available scholarship opportunities to pursue the highest level of education that I can" she shares. As she embraced the challenges of her Ph.D. journey, after her first year, Romalani married and had a little family of her own and they became an additional source of inspiration. "Being a wife and mother fueled my determination to complete my Ph.D. by the age of 30," she adds.
