EFKS APIA AND SMSC DONATES TO SAMOA CANCER SOCIETY.
On Tuesday midday, Samoa Cancer Society guests, EFKS APIA and Saint Marys’ Sports club donated a total of $2500WST, for Cancer patients in terms of machinery to boost the work of the institution.
In an interview with the Chief Executive of the Samoa Cancer Society, Su'a Papalii John Ryan, he is filled with gratitude and appreciation of the awareness spreading in Samoa. It contributed to not only spreading awareness but also urgently informing the members of the public about Cancer.
“I thank EFKS Apia, Rev. Latu and his Faletua for donating $1000WST to the society. Their helping hand to saving lives is appreciated. I remember the past years since the awareness of Pinktober started, Samoan Sunday Schools used pink as a theme Color for their White Sundays, up until now.”
“Also, thanks to Saint Marys’ Sports Club for donating $1500WST for our work to continue in helping lives and keeping Samoa Cancer patients treated well. All the donations made will be given to buy machinery, computers, equipment for up to date files and all sorts of testing when needed,” he said.
Samoa Cancer Society again reminds the public of their support in spreading awareness. If anyone is feeling unwell, unusual pain or aches, contact Samoa Cancer Society for check ups.
Color pink is still worn up until the end of October and God Bless the Cancer Patients of Samoa.
