FIRE OUTBREAK IN VAITELE WEDNESDAY MORNING.

Footage from one of the Facebook lives posted of the fire at Vaitele, this morning.

A fire broke out at a furniture factory in Vaitele, almost spreading to the nearby British American Tobacco facility, according to the commissioner of the Samoa Fire and Emergency Services Authority, Tanuvasa Petone Mauga.

After the fire was extinguished, the public called and messaged the media, providing them with numerous recordings and web pieces. It has continued to grow and has virtually affected the area in question.

Tanuvasa Petone Mauga, the Commissioner of the Samoa Fire and Emergency Services Authority, stated that their team arrived in time to prevent the fire from spreading to neighbouring building industry and households.

“We received calls a bit late. It is a furniture manufacturing building near the B.A.T.”

“The officials are in investigation at the moment for about 4 to 5 days before finalizing the investigation,” Mr. Mauga said.

For their action in the next five days prior to ascertaining what started the fire, Mr. Mauga forwarded the matter to the investigation officers.

The fire breakout was initially spotted on the Facebook network when a caster complained of the rescuer’s job while filming footage of it.

Tanuvasa was quite clear that S.F.E.S.A had a lot to consider at the moment. Following protocols and specialized strategies for progress.
