Four taken to hospital after car crash at Vaigaga

Four people have been taken to the hospital after a car crash that had occurred at Vaigaga at around 12:30pm on Friday.

Video of the incident was circulated on social media on the same day.

The vehicles involved were a Mitsubishi Colt and a Nissan Navara. Those who were at the scene when the incident happened alleged that he Mitsubishi Colt was exiting a fish market next to Pasefika Motors at Vaigaga when it had collided with the Nissan Nirvada.

A person who had responded to the incident but did not want to be named said that the woman driving the Nissan Navara rolled out of the car shortly after the collision which had also damaged a nearby fence.

The woman was take to a hospital by a car that had stopped near the incident. Three people were in the Mitsubishi Colt, and according to the person who was at the scene, the driver’s right leg was injured, while two of the other passengers were injured and were shortly taken to the hospital after.

Police had arrived at the scene shortly after they were taken to the hospital.
