HAPPY 70TH ANNIVERSARY SAMOA COLLEGE.

The School of Samoa College Old Pupils Association, parents, teachers, and guests were invited to the official event, including the Deputy Prime Minister, New Zealand Diplomats, and S.C.O.P., filled Samoa College Hall in Vaivase.

The E.F.K.S. Vaivase Church Minister performed the ceremonial, while the P.T.A. President and teachers offered prayers and encouraging words. 

Honourable Deputy Prime Minister Tuala Tevaga Iosefo Ponifasio was invited at the ceremonial address. Active students were made aware of how long the college has served the nation through his speech. Samoa College has achieved its level of success now because of its lengthy tenure as one of the best colleges in the area. 

“Atamai e tautua mo Samoa, With wisdom serve Samoa and with wisdom lead Samoa. The predictions of our old ancestors since its establishment, leaders, Members of Parliament, Chief Executives and many of the top paid jobs.”

“Samoa College also fostered writers, poets, authors, journalists and more,” Tuala said.

“We are incredibly proud of the contributions made to the advancement of our beloved Samoa by the teachers, pupils, and parents of Samoa College. We express our sincere congratulations, appreciation, and joy to everyone who has entered the doors of this esteemed institution of learning and give thanks to the forward-thinking architects who created it. As we commemorate Samoa College's 70th anniversary, it is important to remember the achievements that the school's instructors and students have made throughout the years.”

“Finally, let's keep in mind that Samoa College's legacy extends beyond its structures and educational offerings and is preserved by the accomplishments and contributions of its former students.”

Official Birthday cake-blowing, a very experienced Samoa College Old Pupils Association member was given the honour. 

Upcoming events of the 70th Anniversary of the College include a 1-month celebration consisting of sports, games, happy hours, and the gala Ball for the college.
