Samoa’s captain and Parramatta Eels front rower Junior Paulo was successful in his challenge against a one match penalty notice for a Grade A striking offence during Sunday’s RLWC2021 quarter final game against Mate Ma'a Tonga.

The decision now means that Paulo will be available for the Toa Samoa's semi-final clash against England this coming Saturday.

The Toa Samoa player was summoned before the  independent judiciary tribunal after he was sighted for a very dangerous play against David Fifita during their quarterfinal matchup last Monday.

The decision to allow Paulo to play in the semi-final was made by the independent judiciary tribunal which consists of HHJ Sarah Wright, Wilf George and Lindsay Arnold.
