Faleula school girl dies in Motootua hospital after being hit by car.

A school girl has died after being hit by a car in Faleula last week .

Police said the 11-year-old had gotten off a bus and walked behind it.

She was then hit by a car as she crossed an access road at Faleula and she was taken to Motootua hospital in life-threatening condition after being hit.

The driver of the car, has been charged with causing death by negligent drivingand will appear in court later this month.

Police said his charges would now be upgraded to causing death by negligent driving.
