The Samoa Quota scheme is one of the yearly stratagems Samoa individuals look forward to and it is expected to be drawn on Friday 6th of October, 2023.

Usually every year, the New Zealand High Commission opens registration through paper fills until 2022, opening online platforms for all quota registrants. This year is marked the second year since NZ quota scheme registration is changed through E-register.

In order to make up for the empty quota of 2020 and 2021, when the plan was paused due to Covid-19, 550 additional slots will be granted per year until 2026 making up the total of 1650 names, according to the online registration page on the New Zealand Immigration Services website.

The quota ballot is expected to be drawn on Friday and await the release of the list in the next 4 days.

“We will provide instructions on how to apply for residency if your name is drawn from the ballot. If accepted, you will have eight months to submit your application for residency.”

“If you satisfy the standards and your name is not picked from the ballot this year, you may reapply the following year.In October 2023, we will post the draw's results on our website.”

“Your registration number is to appear on the list soon-to-be uploaded on their Website, Facebook page and from updating your emails,” quoted from email replies by Immigration New Zealand and website.
