Samoa To Host Super Rugby Clash

Tickets are on sale now starting at $10 as Samoa prepares to host the Super Rugby match, on April 14 at Apia Park when the Moana Pasifika take on the Queensland Reds.

Last week Thursday, Digicel Samoa publicized the tickets on their social media sites, noting that they will be available for purchases at any of their retail locations the this week.

When the Moana Pasifika take on the Queensland Reds at Apia Park next month, Samoa will experience Super Rugby for the second time, like Fiji, who have hosted Super Rugby matches since 2016.

The confirmation of Moana Pasifika and Fijian Drua remaining in the Super Rugby Competition, through 2030 is considered as building the road for native rugby players in Samoa, Tonga, and Fiji to advance to professional level.

The two most entertaining teams in the competition would have to have continued to play until 2024 under the original agreement, but everything has changed. This implies that Samoa and Fiji will host more Super Rugby matches.

It is predicted that the match next month will draw a sizable crowd and that tickets will sell out quickly and for a reasonable price.

Prices for seats are as follows: $10 for Embankment, $40 for VIP Stadium South, $40 for Local Stadium North, $75 for Red Stadium North Stand, $75 for Blue Stadium South Stand, and $100 for Gold Stadium VIP.

For Moana Pasifika, playing in front of Samoan people and their supporters is a really remarkable experience since they serve as both an inspiration and a source of motivation. As we take on the Reds, our players are eager to play "at home" in front of loved ones, aiga, our Samoan community, and make them proud by showcasing everything that is distinctive and exceptional about Pacific Island rugby.

The Moana Pasifika team brings a wealth of quality and experience to the field, so the match will undoubtedly be thrilling.

The team has players like Christian Lealiifano, a rugby legend from Samoa who has played in over 150 Super Rugby matches, and Miracle Fai'ilagi, a Samoan-born player. In the Pacific Nations Cup (PNC) team that Manu Samoa defeated last year, 14 additional Moana Pasifika athletes participated.

Loose Forward for Moana Pasifika, Miracle Faiʻilagi.
