Xeyana Taimane Oilau Salanoa, Xevani Mataniufeagaimaleata Lilien Salanoa, and Xehlia Litia Salanoa are set to make history and elevate the team's performance in the upcoming tournament.

Originally from Hawaii, the Salanoa sisters bring a unique blend of skill, passion, and sisterly bond to the squad. Their inclusion highlights the team's diverse composition, with players scattered across Samoa, the United States, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Xeyana and Xehlia, who arrive just ahead of the tournament, join their sister Xevani to create a formidable trio. Despite growing up in Hawaii, the sisters are determined to leave an indelible mark on Samoan football, contributing to the team's goal of surpassing their 3rd place finish at the Pacific Games.

Coach Juan Chang Urrea has expressed excitement about the trio, recognizing the significance of having siblings play together. The sisters embody a mix of experience and youthful energy, bringing a unique dynamic to the squad that could prove crucial in their quest for success.

As the team gears up to face Vanuatu in the opening match, the spotlight will undoubtedly be on the Salanoa sisters. Their journey from Hawaii to representing Samoa on the international stage is a testament to their dedication and love for the sport.

The sisters' presence adds a layer of unity and shared purpose to the team, with the coach emphasizing the mission to "leave it better than you found it." Fans eagerly anticipate the trio's impact on the field and how their familial connection will contribute to the team's cohesion.

The Salanoa sisters' story is not just about football prowess but also about breaking barriers and showcasing the global nature of women's football. As they take the field, all eyes will be on this talented trio, hoping their shared love for the game propels Samoa to new heights in the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament-Oceania Qualifier and, ultimately, to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
