SPPCS CELEBRATE THEIR SERVICE REMEMBRANCE DAY.
The service was held as it has in the past by the Ministry of Samoa Police, Prisons, and Commission Services on early Friday, September 29th at the Police Car Park, Headquarter. It serves to honor and remember the Ministry’s long-serving officers from the past.
The male and female officers' duty and tribute is intended to honor the sacrifices that previous officers made for Samoa over the years. The policemen with the moniker "Malu o le Malo o Samoa" or "Peace of Samoa" are Samoa's right-hand enforcers.
The long-serving previous officers, the Chief Executive Officer, the former commissioner, and the Commissioner were among the attendees, along with many more.
As part of their memorial service, the officers played an orchestral tribute and anthem after their morning ceremony. Old police officers and those who have passed received recognition by the commissioner and team.
The special speech is of the Minister of SPCCS, Hon. Faualo Harry Jeffrey Schuster. He expressed his gratitude for the ongoing service played by the heroes of Samoa. Apart from protection and guidance, they have been securing Samoa with influences to enter.
Since the 1800s and of over a hundred (100) years of their service, the police officers act of assistance is still ongoing. Samoa wishes to be under their eyes for their safety and security.
Throughout many of the years, SPPCS have lost many of the good soldiers off and on-duty. Take one minute to pay a small tribute to the safety of our people, on their hands everyday.
