Parliament Member for Va'a o Fonoti also known as "Pizza Man Georgies" has
resigned from the H.R.P.P Human Rights Protection Party. Mau'u Siaosi
Pu'epu'emai is the third member of H.R.P.P to have resigned this year.

In a resignation letter that was handed to the Human Rights Protection
Party leader Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi on Friday the 25th Dec
stated that Mau'u Siaosi Pu'epu'emai will vacate the party starting
from today.

Mau'u stated that the resignation has nothing to do with his
association with the H.R.P.P leader and also its members. Nothing
about the leadership or any form of contact affects his decision
making.

One thing that he did point out was rising disagreement between his
District (Va'a o Fonoti) and the Opposition Party. He stated that his
District has questioned him about any development work being done
after 2 years of being an M.P. The decision didn't come lightly to
Mau'u.

He acknowledges the H.R.P.P leader Tuilaepa Sailele for his service to
Samoa but it was time for him to serve his District and answer to
their wants and needs.

Va'a o Fonoti member Mau'u Siaosi Puepuemai is no stranger to the
public as he owns a pizza restraurant. He is a fresh face to politics
and officially became a member when he was voted by his District in
9th April 2021.
