VODAFONE SETS TO LAUNCH ITS INAUGURAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
The First Vodafone Leadership Summit 2023 will be held on May 8, 2023, at the Taumeasina Island Resort,as mentioned in a press statement from the telecommunications company.
The conference will bring together business and government leaders under one roof to learn about a variety of leadership-related topics.
The Prime Minister, Fiame Naomi Mataafa, will be one of the summit's four speakers, whereupon she will educate the audience on the "Importance of Diversity in Leadership."
Other speakers include Jennifer Ula-Fruean, Country Head of BSP Samoa, who will discuss "Virtual Leadership". Le'uo Alani Faiai, Chief Technical Officer of Vodafone Samoa, who will address "How Technology Will Shape Leadership," and Seiulialii Dr. George Usufono Leao Tuitama, Director of the Department of Mental Health in the Ministry of Health, who will talk about "Managing Stress for Leaders."
"Innovation is one of Vodafone's key values, and this summit is being planned up to standards never previously seen in Samoa. Given its position as a pioneer in telecom, Vodafone is legitimately the best candidate to host a Leadership Summit," remarked Rana Bose, CEO of Vodafone Samoa.
"The objective is to gather leaders from all backgrounds and experiences to share information and views on successful leadership tactics and overcoming obstacles, particularly for our pacific island nation. Leaders will be able to discuss their experiences, triumphs, and difficulties during the summit.
The CEO of Vodafone Samoa stated, "We may host Leadership summits at a larger scale every year, based on the success and comments on this year's summit."
