WELCOME TO A NEW ERA

Not since 2015 when the All Blacks played Manu Samoa at Apia Park have we witnessed such a proud display of national pride and patriotism.

Prior to the Court's decision to void the second election, the road to Mulinuu was at a stand still as far back as Savalalo. Following the announcement the stream of cars paraded back through the city, horns blaring, flags waving and FAST t-shirts being worn with more pride than ever.

The areas around the Court House were a sea of red - shirts, pulatasi and of course the national flag.

Never before has the red colour of Samoa's flag been so significant and symbolic of the FAST victory today.

Finally we can move forward as a country, form a majority parliament, resolve petitions and challenges and re-build the democracy Samoa has proven to be
