The Pasifika Media Foundation (PMF) on Friday 7th Janauary announced the list of finalists for the 2022 edition of the prestigious Pasifika Media Excellence Awards (PMEA 2022).
Samoa Content writer and political young Columnist from Eyespy Radio Samoa Nah Folasa have been nominated for the Pacific Media Excellence awards 2022 in Journalism -POLITICAL COLUMNIST.
Winners will receive their awards on 24 April 2022. Out of a total of 344 submissions and after a thorough assessment by the judges, 81 nominees were selected as favourites to win the awards.
Mr Folasa, a political reporter, joins 81 other journalists and media organisations shortlisted for awards in various categories.
Va'ai Nah Folasa is a Samoa digital political journalist/reporter for Eyespy Radio 87.5 at Matautu. He has special interests in humanitarian issues, politics, social issues .His investigative work in these areas has prompted law changes and sparked Government inquiries.

The winners will be announced in a virtual ceremony in April.
The winner of the 2022 chairman’s award, which recognises a nominated individual’s outstanding contribution to high standards of journalism, will also be announced at the event.
