NZ provides rapid test to Samoa

New Zealand High Commission in Samoa this morning their facebook page announced that the New Zealand government is donating 50,000 RAPID ANTIGENT TESTS(RATs) to Samoa.

The post reads "As part of our support for Samoa’s COVID-19 response, Aotearoa New Zealand is providing 50,000 rapid antigen tests (RATs) to Ministry of Health Samoa.

Rapid antigen tests (RATs) are a testing mechanism that allow people to get their test results in less than an hour and have been widely used in other countries as a key tool for combatting the rapid spread of the virus."

On Monday, 8 more covid cases were confirmed and 41 covid cases were registered in Samoa since the pandemic outbreak in 2019.
