Victims of accident at StarKist laid to rest
The wife of one of the four victims of the accident at StafKist in December, Taumaoe Filipo, singing as part of her final farewell to her husband.
Villagers, church members, friends and colleagues described Taumaoe as a person who loved his family and was dedicated to his work and village.

He would often just sit and not say a word when they argue. She would be the one yelling and he would just smile and not answer her.
Members of SOFIAS, Sosaiete a Faafafine i Amerika Samoa also attended and presented gifts as Taumaoe’s son was a member.
Representatives of Starkist Samoa’s management team attended both Taumaoe and Ierome Vili’s funeral.
Vili who was a security guard was also laid to rest Saturday.
This leaves one more victim, Faasaulala Ahoni, whose funeral is scheduled for Friday.
The funeral of the youngest of the victims, Alatina Faleasi, was held last month.
