TOTAL NUMBER OF COVID-19 RELATED DEATHS RISES TO 19
As at 2pm local time on 28th April, 2022, there were 11 patients reported to be in managed isolation, and 1 patient in the Intensive Care Unit at Moto’otua Hospital.
Sadly, the Ministry of Health also reported 3 new COVID-19 related deaths in the 48 hours.
MWCSD distributes 200 Hygiene packages to Vulnerable Families
In an effort to assist vulnerable families within the community the Ministry of Women, Community & Social Development has begun the distribution of hygiene packages for vulnerable families currently affected by COVID-19.
4 NEW COVID-19 RELATED DEATHS BRING NATIONAL DEATH TOLL TO 7
In an Official Press Release received Saturday evening (April 9th) The Ministry of Health confirmed four more COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the National death toll to seven.
STATE OF EMERGENCY EXTENDED
In an announcement distributed by the Government’s Press Secretariat on the 8th April, 2022 at 3.39pm, the Government has issued the extension of the State of Emergency commencing on the 11th April until the 08th May, 2022.
