A tragic road incident involving a Dyna Truck belonging to Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections services has occurred in Tiavi.

Footage of the incident showed the vehicle which had flipped over and bystanders desperately attempting to rescue one of the victims who was trapped beneath it.

A source on the scene stated that 4 people were involved in the accident, and that three lives had already been lost.
