Four new Associate Ministers sworn in.

Four new Associate Ministers to Cabinet have been sworn in today at the Fiame Mataafa Faumuina Mulinuu II Government Building in Apia.

Prime Minister Hon Fiame Naomi Mataafa has announced a reshuffling of portfolio for Associate Minister responsibilities that includes the appointments of other four(4) new Associate Ministers to other Ministries.

These four MPs won after bi-election last year from their constituencies under the FAST Party umbrella.

The Ministry of Finance, which covers the National Provident Fund(NPF), Central Bank of Samoa,Development Bank of Samoa,

Samoa Life Assurance Corporation, SIFA and Unit Trust of Samoa(UTOS), is set to have a new Associate Minister.

He is Magele Sekati Fiaui.

The new Member of Parliament from Falealupo constituency has now been moved to take over the position of Associate Minister of the Ministry of Communication, Information and Technology, previously occupied by Magele Sekati Fiaui.

The new Associate Ministers comprises:

1. Faleomavaega Titimaea Tafua: Associate Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Enviroment.

2. Fuiono Tenina Crichton: Associate Minister of the Ministry of Communication, Information and Technology.

3. Maiava Tito Asafo: Associate Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries

4.Laumatiamanu Mathew Ringo Purcell:Associate Minister of the Ministry of Works, Transportation and Infrastructure.

5. Magele Sekati Fiaui: Associate Minister of the Ministry of Finance.
