A few days after the Tuisamau bus crashed at the village of Sauano in the District of Fagaloa, another bus also got into an accident today (Monday 13th March 2023) at the village of Falelima in the big island of Savai'i.

The bus is owned and employed by Lady Samoa Transport in Asau, and was travelling from Salelologa towards Asau when the accident took place. Photos of the heavily damaged bus were posted by a member of the public on Facebook.

The person who posted the photos on social media who did not want his identity mentioned stated that the bus was speeding when it came to a curve at Falelima and crashed on the side.

He also stated that there were passengers onboard the bus when it crashed, but luckily no one lost their life because of the accident.

"Some of them(passengers) had minor scratches but thankfully no one died from the crash," said the witness.

Eyespy Radio contacted the Samoa Police Services for details and information regarding the accident but was unsuccessful as the matter is currently being investigated.
