Samoa announces new petrol prices.

Consumers are now paying new prices for petrol products.

The retail price for petrol decreased by 10.01 sene per litre-moving from $3.03 to $2.93 per litre.

Similarly, for diesel the price moved from $2.93 to $2.84 per litre which is a decrease of 9.12 sene per litre.

The retail price for Kerosene decreased by 7.67 sene from $2.54 to $2.46 sene per litre.

The new prices which came into effect on Tuesday 1 February 2022.

The ongoing concerns regarding the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the world economy continue to impact the market for crude oil and refined products.
