China will supply PCR tests for Samoa.

China will supply Covid-19 rapid testing kits for Samoa in the event there is community transmission according to the Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mataafa.

Fiame said currently there are no rapid testing kits for Covid-19 for the communitys use.

China has stepped in to assist and will supply Covid-19 rapid testing kits.

The Prime Minister also pointed out three PCR tests of frontline workers which all yielded negative results, means the virus has not leaked out into the community.
