China To Help Boost Samoa's Agriculture

A formal meeting was held on Wednesday morning between the Chinese delegation, which was headed by said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ma Youxiang, and the Honorable Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of Samoa, La'aulialemalietoa Leuatea Polataivao Fosi Schmidt.


By taking part in this tour, Samoa will have the chance to talk about various issues pertaining to the two nations' strong ties by enhancing the farming and fishing industries of Samoa.

This meeting was held this morning with the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Seuseu Dr. Joseph Tauati also participating alongside representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Samoa.

China is one of the countries where Samoan farmers have opportunities to export agricultural produce, but not only that, there are many programs funded by the government to improve the conditions of agricultural development in Samoa.
