EARLY XMAS FOR NOFOALII PRIMARY School

Nofoalii Primary School has partnered with the German Embassy in
Wellington on a project to improve the conditions of the school.A
total of $21,000Tala worth of floor tiles has been funded for the
students' classrooms.

The project was approved by the German Embassy as part of the 50
years anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Germany and Samoa
which was established in 1972.The Honorary Consul of Germany to Samoa
Tagaloa Christa Szegedi emphasised the two key objectives of this
project

“The first objective was to upgrade the classrooms with floor tiles.
This will ensure the students and Teachers work in a cleaner and germ
free environment. The second objective was the renovation of the
school fence. This is vital with the school being close to the main
road” stated Tagaloa Christa Szegedi.

The Associate Minister of Education Sports and Culture and also the
Member of Parliament for Aana Alofi 3 Agaseata Valelio Tanuvasa
expresses his sincere appreciation towards the project.

“We are overwhelmed with thankful hearts. I would like to acknowledge
our gratitude to the government and the people of Germany for great
financial aid. I hope this relationship between Germany and Nofoalii
will carry on forever”stated the Parliament member.

Minister of Education Sports and Culture Mr Seuula Ioane Tuaau will be
in attendance giving the keynote speech at the event. Also in
attendance will be the Honorary Consul of Germany to Samoa Tagaloa
Christa Szegedi.
