EUROPEAN UNION RESUMES COMMITMENT TO SAMOA'S CLIMATE CRISIS

A SAT$38 Million Finance Agreement was signed by the European Union and the Government of Samoa in assistance to Samoa's resilient plans for its climate change and water sectors. 

Samoa is among the many islands in the Pacific that are vulnerable to the affects of Climate Change. The grant , regonised prestigiously by the Samoa Government is at the pillar of European Union's assistance and countryship.

Fundings will go to the implementation of Samoa's water sector development and climate change resilence plan. 

The Government of Samoa acknowledged the continued support of the European Union and the trust-based relationship .

The agreement was signed between the independent State of Samoa with Minister of Finance Mulipola Anarosa Molio'o-Ale , European Representative Peteris Ustubs.
