"Experience vs Expertise" : Samoa Prodigy To Fight Fijian Tiger
Rising Samoan boxer Marion Faustino Ah Tong will go head to head with Fijian veteran boxer Ahbay "the Tiger" Chand in a Super Welterweight fight at the end of this month.
The Samoan prodigy replied to questions sent by EyeSpy on his take for the new challenge , he replied "the fight will go for 6 rounds unless its KO"
"I have been training for 10 weeks , leading up to this fight" stated the rising star..."This will be experience vs expertise in a match".
Marion stated that his knowledge of his opponent Ahbay "the Tiger" Chand is that he is a well experienced boxer and also a mature individual.
"It's true that my opponent has a lot of experience but I am ready to face him ," he replied.
According to Marion's team management they had to change his opponents three times. The particular reason for this circumstance was because there were no welterweight opponents for Marion.
"Due to difficulty in finding an opponent , he will now be fighting in the super welterweight category. Finding an opponent for this fight wasn't easy" his management team informed.
Ahbay "the Tiger" Chand who is of Fijian descent simply stated "I'm not out of the fight yet" he challenged. Chand fought against champion Siliveni Nawai where he gave it his 100 percent and has conducted 48 fights throughout his career.
The match will kick off on March 25th and the Super Welterweight boxers are ready to take on each other , with the burning question of whether the Samoan prodigy will put an end to "the Tigers" roar or Ahbay Chand will add Marion as another stat.
