Parliament Mourns Death Of Former M.P
The customs and traditions of the Legislative Assembly recognize the important contribution of anyone who has been a Member of Parliament from the very beginning until now.
The Honorable Tuaopepe Fili, a gentleman who served Samoa through as the Member of Parliament for the Lefaga and Faleāse'elā District in Parliament from the year 1988 - 1991.
As Tuaopepe was a Member of Parliament, he was elected to the Parliamentary Committee on Appeals and the Parliamentary Committee on Government Accounts.
Tuaopepe ran under the banner of the Human Rights Protection Party(H.R.P.P.).
During his remarks, Speaker of Parliament, Papāli'i Li'o 'Oloipola Taeu Masipau announced the public condolences of the Legislative Assembly and all of Samoa for the passing of Tuaopepe,who served both his constituency and the people of Samoa to the best of his abilities..
Parliament rose for one minute to remember the important contribution of Tuaopepe, while he was involved with politics of the country.
