The court case involving a father and his son who've both been charged with the possession of ice (methamphetamine) and illicit drugs has been postponed until Police finalizes the charges laid against them.
However, Tupa'i's father, Anthony Moananu, continues to be detained by the police, but his son, Benjaminponi Junior Tupa'i, has been released with certain conditions.
One of the defendants, Tupa'i Anthony Moananu is currently remanded in police custody, while his son (the other defendant) Benjaminponi Junior Tupa'i has been released on bail with certain conditions.
The two were charged after a raid conducted by the police in Falelauniu two weeks ago.
Another drug-related matter involving four men who were charged by the police in an attack in Vaimoso that found ice, prohibited marijuana plants, as well as computers and mobile phones, has also been postponed until the National Security Agency finalizes the allegations against the defendants.
One of the four has been released under certain conditions, while the other three are still being held under police custody.
The raid by the police was due to an investigation into a burglary crime in which computers were removed from a store in Vaimoso, but these devices were found in the house of the family that was raided and found ice and marijuana.
