Senese Institute and Helping Hands, two non-government organisations that serve children with special needs have been blessed in the beginning of 2023. Good Samaritan and owner of Gus Bone Audio Chris Feesago sets to give back in an event called 685 Car Culture this coming Saturday at Surfside Park or Also known as Funway Park Matautu-Uta.

Christopher Feesago, has shared with EyeSpy Radio the vitality of the event as it goes beyond just fancy vehicles and awesome sound systems. And now he is ready to give back to his community as an act of kindness and to raise awareness.

"This is for everyone who has lent a helping hand to me and my family during hard times. This is for them , and I appreciate all the help they have provided for us." he told this Radio Station on Thursday.

Mr Feesago said that when he and his wife Jacinta Tafa saw special symptoms from their youngest child, 2-years-old Auggie Feesago, a sense of worry overcame them. As unsure as they were , they were given advice by a specialist that Auggie is on the spectrum of autism , but the couple remained faithful and said she was a "special" child to them.

"Auggie is a special little girl to me and my family. She hasn't fully grown yet but she needs all the help in the world and we are here to do just that. I would do anything for my little girl" stated Mr Feesago.

“She does not have autism but she is in the spectrum of it. She has not been diagnosed with autism.” he added.

The mission is to raise as much awareness for children with disabilities and also provide assistance for non government organisations SENESE and Helping Hands. Auggie's father stated that
this is also for the parents who have dealt with the uncertainty they felt when they were blessed with children who have "special abilities".

“I’m just trying to be an advocate for kids like my daughter and parents like me who need a little help but struggle for the first step. We were going to have this show but we are using the platform to
promote awareness and give back to the community doing what we love to do.”he said

"We're just trying to create a voice for the people of Samoa, especially for parents who have gone through the same stages we had to endure and still are," he added.

Helping Hands speech therapist Mr. David Gabriel who is also the speech therapist for Auggie stated that the opportunity that Gus Bone Audio is set to provide will become a huge opportunity to many others who relate.

Mr Gabriel works together with Auggie and assists her 3 times a week with her speech and basic learning such as diction and word study.

A Chevrolet Tahoe fully powered with a $50,000 sound system will be up for grabs in this Saturday's event. The event is set to be a day of fun and play for the public , which will be held at the Surfside in
Matautu.

According to Auggie's mum Jacinta Tafa , all the money raised in this event will go straight towards Senese and Helping Hands. For every $10 raffle ticket that is purchased, one tala will be donated to a fund for these Institutes and the children of Samoa with disabilities.
