MS Grand Princess, maiden call Wed 12th April, 9am

When she entered into service in 1998, Grand Princess was the largest and most expensive cruise ship in the world at 109,000 tonnes and $450USD million. Since then she's had many makeovers, adding in Princess's more modern amenities. She served as the flagship of Princess's fleet until Royal Princess took over in 2013.

The MS Grand Princess has made a last minute adjustment in order to call Apia Port for the very first time. She was meant to call Apia Feb 2020 before our International Seaport went into lockdown, she will arrive at 9am, Wednesday 12th April.

She arrives from Auckland, New Zealand before continuing on to Pagopago, American Samoa.

She is Captained by Master Michele Bartolomei

She brings with her 1732 passengers over 56 different nationalities on board.

The cruise began her journey on the 31st March from Sydney, Australia with a crew of 1074

The Samoa Tourism Authority are preparing arrival entertainment and farewell Ailao performance,

Along with beautifying our Wharf, the Samoa Ports Authority will be organizing a Flea Market on the Port for the passengers and crew to enjoy.
