SAMOA SCHOOL EXAM RESULTS YET TO BE RELEASED

Students will be uplifting their results from their own schools on dates set out by the Ministry.

The Ministry of Education Sports and Culture (M.E.S.C) has announced the completion of 2022 National Assessment and Examination Results and the upcoming release of provisional results for this academic year 2023. Students have been advised to uplift their gradings at their Colleges and Primary Institutes.

In an announcement posted to the Ministry of Education Sports & Culture’s (M.E.S.C) social media page it is stated that the final assessment and markings for the exams have concluded. Dates have been released by the Ministry to notify principals , parents and students of when to uplift their results.

"All school principals must uplift their results from the Assessments & Examination Division (A.E.D) at Malifa" the Press Release stated.

The P.R additionally stated that school Principals are to provide an official note to the person who will be picking up the batch on their behalf if he/she (principal) isn't available to attend. The official note must be signed by the Principal and handed over to legitimize the presence of whoever is delivering the fate of the exam results.

Students who sat the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (S.S.L.C) and who were  Year 13 students last year will uplift their results on Friday 20 January. The same date is applicable for Year 8 students who underwent the Samoa National Assessments for Primary Education (S.N.A.P.E) and are prepared to enter College Level this year.

Samoa School Certificate (S.S.C) results for Year 12 students are to be uplifted on Friday the 27th of this month , followed by the newly added Samoa National Junior Secondary Certificate (S.N.J.S.C) for Year 10 students on the 3rd of February. Spelling results/ feedback  for Year 2 , 4 and 6 are set to released on the 6th of March, 2023.

The Ministry has also set out charges for recounts if students are not satisfied with the given marks. A total of $16.00 will be charged for (S.S.C) & (S.S.L.C) recounts and $8.00 for each of the subjects under the (S.N.J.S.C) recounts.
