Samoan desendent Eteuati Tuioti Mariner Junior from the villages of Luatuanuu and Salelologa has been meritoriously elevated to Sergeant rank in the United States Marine Corps. A milestone for the young man's career as he celebrates the prestigious recognition.

The 25 year old son of Samoa has been in the military for three and a half years and will celebrate his fourth anniversary in January 2023. His journey as a marine started when he and his parents migrated to San Francisco where they are serving as ministers of their church in the states.

Starting as a novice trainee during the recruitment operation, Eteuati managed to take one step at a time and performed in several military experiences by putting in his best effort to build up his career and represent his love for the marine profession.

"It wasn't easy but with God by my side nothing was impossible" he said.

The newly appointed Sergeant Eteuati Tuioti currently has 15 Marine's under his wings , that he is currently teaching. The goal is to prepare his acquaintances and ensure they are well developed for the worst case scenarios on the field and in the war zone.

"My main priority is to teach these marines their job as a Motor Transport Operator" he told EyeSpy Radio.

"Also ensuring they are efficient war fighters as every marine is a rifleman" he added.

With the density of his new ranking , the young man remains humble and digilent in his new calling. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his family and loved ones for having his back since the beginning of voyage as a Mari-Time gent.

Sgt. Eteuati is a proud son of Samoa and enjoys representing the nation no matter where he is in the world. The culture and the island life always seems to bring joy to him when he is together with his colleagues and companions.

"Even though I'm serving in the US , I'll never forget where I grew up. Samoans are one of the most respected ethnicities in the service" Eteuati told EyeSpy.

He hopes to elevate more in his field of work and inspire many of the Samoans locally and around the world the possibility of achieving great things in life when you set your mind to it.
