S.R.O.S WELCOMES NEW C.E.O
Fiso Dr. Fiame Leo has been appointed as the new leader of the Scientific Research Organization of Samoa (SROS). After a 12-year ascent up the SROS career ladder, he now assumes the position as the chief executive officer.
Before receiving his senior title, CEO Fiso was the SROS Technical and Quality Services Manager.
His selection over the other four applicants was confirmed by Cabinet this week on Tuesday.
With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of the South Pacific, Dr. Leo graduated in 2001.
He received his doctorate in science, glycobiology, and toxicology from the University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Hokkaido, Japan.
He hails from the Palauli village of Vaitoomuli, is married, and has kids.
He succeeds Seuseu Dr. Joseph Edward Tauati, who is currently the CEO of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
