Team Samoa ready for Pacific Mini Games 2022

Team Samoa that will be representing the country in the Pacific Mini Games 2022 that will be held in Saipan had been given a blessing and a word of encouragement from the Government on Friday.

The Pacific Minis Games will take place in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana islands from the 17th to the 25th of June.

Team Samoa consists of a selection of local and overseas based elite athletes, who will be contesting in Athletics, Beach Volleyball, Golf, Tennis, and Weightlifting. Team Samoa has been training for the Pacific Mini Games for months, and we are confident that they are well prepared for this quest, and for Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham, in the coming months of July and August.

The event was held at the Samoa Tourism Authority (S.T.A.) Fale on Friday. Acting Prime Minister Tuala Iosefo Ponifasio, Minister of Education Sports and Culture Seuula Ioane, the Samoa Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (S.A.S.N.O.C.) Pauga Talalelei Pauga, and Team Samoa.

Tuala offered a blessing and word of encouragement on behalf of the Samoan Government.

Pauga thanked the Government of Samoa for their support and had stated that those chosen for Team Samoa and the best athletes in the country.
