"The Samoa Deal" is the first feature film predominantly filmed in Samoa since 2016, capturing the hearts of both the local and international audience. The film is the brainchild of “palagi” writer and director Jordan Moir, who has been deeply influenced by the beauty and vibrancy of Samoan culture throughout his life. Moir's vision was to present Samoa's culture to the world, showcasing its profound effect on relationships and the precious values of family and faith.

Local artistic talent was also engaged for key makeup and hair roles, and Vanu Studios, a local production company, filled critical crew positions.
