TUILAEPA RETURN TO PARLIAMENT

The leader of the opposition party H.R.P.P (Human Rights Protection Party) Tuilaepa Dr Sailele Malielegaoi returned back to the Parliamentary meeting on Tuesday this week and spoke about this twenty four months.

In his speech Tuilaepa expressed his gratitude towards the Deputy Speaker Papalii Li'o Masipa'u , Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata'afa and Minister officials and their deputies for welcoming him to return back to the Parliamentary sittings.

Acknowledgements were referred to Church Ministers and respected guests.

He highlighted how the decisions made within the Parliament House are to be carefully and thoroughly done with respect and integrity. "This House was founded on honesty and utmost respect".

Tuilaepa mentions he sought a letter on Monday night regarding the verdict by the Legislative Privileges and Ethics Committee on banning him and Lealailepule Rimoni Aiafi for twenty four months.

He said he and Leaailepule retrieved the letter before it was officially announced in Parliament.

"Where will we find refuge in this kind of verdict?" Tuilaepa said.
