Welcome To Samoa Chargé d'Affaires NORIKO HORIUCHI
Chargé d'Affaires guest Noriko Horiuchi, a diplomat of the US Embassy
in Samoa, was officially welcomed by Cabinet members and the Samoa
Government this week at the US Embassy residence in Vailima.
In a short ceremony and evening devotion at the welcoming reception
held at the US Embassy Headquarters in Vailima. Cabinet members and
government officials were amongst the guests invited for the welcoming
of Noriko Horiuchi.
Noriko Horiuchu, who has just been Chargé d'Affaires for just three
weeks at the US Embassy highlighted in her speech how grateful she is
to be here in Samoa and how excited she is to work with the people
here.
“To the enduring friendship between the Independent State of Samoa
and the United States of America.” Ms Horiuchi says while proposing a
toast.
The Prime Minister of Samoa Fiame Naomi Mataafa was also amongst the
respected guests at the welcoming and she stated in her speech how
happy Samoa is to have Noriko Horiuchi.
"We are happy to welcome you to Samoa , and looking forward to
creating stronger bondage between the friendship of Samoa and America"
the Prime Minister says.
The welcoming proceeded with introductions and making conversations
and new friends amongst all of the guests and the local officials.
