27 year old celebrity Mr. Asuelu Pula'a, who became famous due to his appearance with his partner Kalani Fa'agata on the U.S TV show "90 Day Fiancé" arrived in Samoa last Saturday morning.

The star was seen at the airport without Kalani and their children, prompting many to ask if the rumors were really true that the couple had separated.

However, Asuelu denied these speculations during an interview with Eyespy Radio yesterday morning saying that the rumors were false.

Eyespy Radio found Asuelu enjoying breakfast with another local icon Cindy of Samoa at the Taumeasina Island Resort on Tuesday.

Mr. Pula'a stated that it has been five years since he last saw his beloved home country, and added that the purpose for his return to Samoa is to visit his parents and his family residing in the village of Utulaelae Falealili.

"I never told my parents and family that I was coming to Samoa because I wanted my visit to be a surprise," he said.

Asuelu also added that another reason he really wanted to come back to Samoa is because he wasn't able to attend the celebration of his dad Fuga Pula'a's 70th birthday last May.

"When I arrived at my parents' home on Saturday, my mother was carrying out her daily chores, while my dad was working at our taro plantation. They were both shocked and happy to see me," said a happy Asuelu.

On Sunday Asuelu attended church with his family and afterwards enjoyed a traditional Samoan Sunday lunch (to'ona'i).

"After we had lunch I told my mum and dad to pack their bags because we're going to spend a few days at Taumeasina Island Resort. And last night I went to their room to check up on them I found only my mum there who told me to go look for my dad because she was worried he'd been gone for some time,"

Asuelu said that he couldn't stop laughing when he found his dad a few minutes later at the bar with a bottle of Taula in his hand.

"These are the moments I've missed when I was away in the States, just seeing my parents relax and enjoy themselves once in a while."

Asuelu will return back to the U.S at the beginning of December, further saying that "I wanted to spend New Year's in Samoa but Kalani said I can't because I have come back home to spend the holidays with her and my two children."
