BONDI EYES PACIFIC TOURNAMENT IN FIJI
Faleata College bid farewell to their student Bondi Pita who will be representing Samoa in the upcoming Pacific Cup Cricket Tournament that will commence at the end of this month in Fiji.
In an announcement by the institute on Friday this week , it stated that Bondi will be flying off to Fiji this month to rep Samoa among other competitors.
"Bondi has shown great dedication and hard work in his peparation for this tournament,and in his upcoming competition" the announcement stated
"We hope that he will bring back great results for our school and country " they added.
The school principal Apato Iosefa Pua spoke with EyeSpy over a phone call and stated the College wishes Bondi the very best and students and friends will be cheering for his coming tournament.
"We would like to congratulate this exceptional yet talented young man" stated the principal.
"He has been playing cricket for a good amount of time and has great experience , his family here in Faleata College is proud of him" the principal concluded.
Bondi Pita teenage student is currently studying at Faleata College and will flying out this month.
The games which is set to kick off from the 6th-8th of March where Fiji will also be hosting the Australian Defence Force Cricket
Five men and five women team will be participating in this one week tournament. Samoa will be playing alongside Papua New Guinea , Vanuatu , Fiji and ANZAC teams Australia and New Zealand.
Men team include Bondi Pita , Mathew Taauso , Timezen Rapi , Darren Roache , Polenisia Kaisara , Titi Lutau , Afepene Ilaoa , Maene Tuilaepa , Sitanisilao Toutai and coach Maletino Maiava.
