After a staggering match between teams Chiefs vs Eagles , football fans across the world were left in awe with yet another year of great sportmanship , and the Samoan presence was heavily felt in the Arizona State Farm stadium.
Wide reciever for Kanasas City Chiefs Juju Smith Schuster of Samoan descent was seen wearing a traditional Samoan necklace (ula fala) during his interview with the NFL Media.
"I got to give all this glory to the man above and my family and fans for all the support , without them I wouldnt be here" said the Super Bowl Champion.
As the stadium was blasting the RSA Samoan tune with thousands celebrating under confetti decor , according to TikTok videos and many other online platforms Samoans were seen several times on screens congratulating Juju and his winning team.
Jordan Maitala who is also of Samoan descent and offensive tackle for the Philadephia Eagles team has been a star in the eyes of many Samoans , as Social Media was flooded with support posts by fans.
"Thank God I got to represent my culture and people in the biggest stage of the world" he told NFL Media.
During the Super Bowl Halftime Show where crucial pop hitmaker Rihanna performed on platforms hanging from the air , her choreographer was also of Samoan descent non other Parris Goebel.
The backup dancers that were choreographed by Parris wore white puffer coats and performed infront of a crowd of more than 7,000 people present ,with more than 208million worldwide streamers. A photo posted on Social Media showed some of the dancers holding a Samoan flag and posing with it.
