A 19-year-old male is said to have drowned at sea when he went out on a fishing trip with some companions and died as a result of the incident.
The incident is believed to have taken place in the village of Toamua, where the young man who died on the fishing expedition hails from. It is understand that it was of Saturday night of last weekend is when happened.
In an interview with EyeSpy Radio on Wednesday this week, Police Commissioner Auapaau Logoitino stated that this case's investigations are still ongoing.
He revealed that his Ministry is conducting an investigation since they think the occurrence may have been the result of foul play.
"We believe that the incident that has occured could be of foul play , we never know " stated Auapaau.
"His body has been taken to the coroner for examniation and results had come confirming that he died from drowning" he added.
